NBR: Neighbors garbage

Our next door neighbors keep putting huge amounts of trash in front of our property days before garbage pick up day. My DH has repeatedly asked the son who lives there with their elderly mother and a couple of tenants to put it on their side. They r good for a week or two then it starts again. It makes my DH act like a whacko. I think he's gonna start picking it up and dumping it on their lawn. We have lived here a year and a half. It looks like crap and blows all over onto our lawn. Not cool. Anyway...any recourse we can take with the town or something?

Yup - you should call town hall. It varies by town, but you can try the DPW or health department and tell them the situation. Does your town have an ordinance that specifies that garbage can't be left out, except for garbage days?

I don't know who you would call about that, but I would definitely put it back on their side. Super annoying.

Home Owners Association... They can be a wee bit overbearing sometimes but when it's you being wronged they're the ones to turn too...

Oh we def don't have that here. Otherwise my neighborhood would look nice. Lol

We have the same problem! Plus our neighbors like to drive on our property and use our driveway as a Udrive. So annoying!!!! We have talked to them numerous times and our city won't do anything. Good luck.
