Teething

So I think we have officially entered teethig. LO has been droolling and chomping on things for weeks now but last night was a whole different story. Hes been STTN for weeks but last night he went to bed at 8, which is his normal bedtime but was up at 12 screaming bloody murder and then up at 115, 230, 300 and then finally passed out at 4 until 6. I have NEVER seen him scream and cry like that. And he was holding his mouth really weird and screaming in an odd way. I did give him tylenol and put some of the baby orajel without benzocaine on his gums. I also gave him a cold teething ring at one point too. That seemed to help a bit. So what else can I do? And how long does it take for the tooth to actually break through?

  • B has an amber teething necklace that is getting us through the bad spurts. I second the mesh food net. Also, the Hyland Teething tablets are wonderful.
