6mo shots: my poor boy

DS had his 6 mo appointment yesterday. He is absolutely miserable. He spiked a 101 degree fever yesterday and is clearly uncomfortable if I accidentally put pressure on his legs at the injection sites. We haven't had this happen with any of his prior vaccines.

He was up every 3 hours last night and is just pathetic this morning. My usually happy, active boy just sat on the floor surrounded by his toys fussing and then fell asleep in my arms which he never does.

Poor baby. Has any one else experienced this? How long did it take for this to end with your LO?

maybe 2 days till DD was back to normal after her shots.  4 and 6 months were a doozy!
