Weird question - BM

For those of you that breastfeed (or breastfed) and have an older child, did you give or consider giving surplus pumped breast milk to the older sibling? They say that BM continues to be a valuable source of nutrition and disease protection well beyond age two. Rather than pour it down the drain, would you put it in your other kids' cereals?

I'm sorry if this question is too weird.

I think I would rather donate it

  • I tried to give my at the time 2 and half year old breast milk while nursing Camden and he wouldn't touch it! I even tried mixing it with cows milk and he still wouldn't take it. I am all for giving it to older siblings if they will take it though!
