I think it's normal. There's more blood flow than normal so you might be more sensitive and I've heard you can also bleed a little bit after intercourse.
Okay, good! Everything I've read online referenced STDs, but not pregnancy, so it was a little disconcerting. Strange that none of the books I've read thus far have talked about this!
I experienced this with my first pregnancy. When I went in for my first ultrasound they told me I had some small polyp (little growth) which is very common early in pregancy and that they usually go away on their own during the pregnancy. M
