baby shower with little family

So I had this issue with bridal shower too. We have very little family. On my side none and on my hubbys maybe 6 people at most.... where do you cut the list off as far as friends....for bridal shower I invited a few out of town who were close friends but didn't see often and they never came. So I'm just wondering your guys opinions on this.. our friends for us are our family. We are both only children, and I have no family in this state... And yeah no ones offered to throw it yet, but I'm pretty sure I'll be asked this summer! We just don't see anyone right now!

I'm not sure what you're asking. Hopefully one of your friends will offer? None of my extended family lives anywhere nearby, so my shower was mainly friends. It was really nice.

Since you're assuming someone will offer to host one, go ahead and draft your guest list.  Tis okay if it's small.  10 people can make for a lovely shower.

I can only assume at this point....yes but all the other posts got me thinking... My friend I am pretty sure will offer didn't do hers until after baby was born...she had 4 miscarriages between kids and I doubt she would consider offering until I'm furthe
