Welcome to the 2IF Grad Check In! We want to hear from all of 2IF grads, past and present. You ladies give us hope!
This is the place to talk about all things pregnancy and baby: betas, bumps, ultrasounds, gender reveals, birth stories, special milestones, pictures, cute things your LO's are doing now and anything else you'd like to share!
If this is your first grad check in please share a little bit about your IF history for those of us who may not know how you reached this point (# of cycles, treatments, etc) and how far along you are or how old your LO is now?
QOTW: How are you feeling this week? Do you/have you had any food cravings so far?
Have a great day ladies! Please continue to give us updates on how you and your LO's are doing!

Re: *****2IF Grad Check In*****
History: TTC since Jan 2011. Two losses. Five medicated cycles and three IUI. No success. while moving to CA and looking for new RE got a BFP.
QOTW: I am craving meat.
I am also a little afraid to join this check in. I had my first appointment with my OB today after being released from my RE last week. We heard the heartbeat, 162 bpm. The twin sac has absorbed completely since last week. I still have a huge corpus luteum cyst on my right ovary. A little nervous about that. No sex or working out until it shrinks : (
History: TTC #2 since Jan 2012. 4 losses. Started with Femara and Ovidrel. Moved onto injectibles for a better chance Fall 2012. I had an HSG right before my last cycle and I got pregnant with what it appears to be a healthy baby. When I was TTC DD, I had an HSG and got pregnant on my first cycle of femara. DH and I swear the HSG has something to do with it. So if we ever try for baby#3, I will go for the HSG right away.
QOTW: I have been pretty nauseous. Trying to get by eating what I can. I have been eating pudding, yogurt, soup and crackers. I cannot stand the thought of meat. Crazy because I usually follow a pretty low carb diet with lots of chicken and green veggies.
Pregnant with Letrazole (Femara) on the first cycle with DD after TTC 2+ years
TTC#2 with Letrazole (Femara) since January 2012

15 weeks...wow 2nd tri. Can't believe we are here. 20 days till the anatomy u/s. I always see that as our big milestone. We found out we lost the twins at that scan, and DS was super healthy that scan sooooo if we make it there I feel we might bring this baby home.
I have been craving orange juice with ginger ale mixed in, my version of a virgin mimosa!! I need to start taking bump pics! I am def showing and strangers are starting to ask when I am due. I love my Doppler and wish everyone here could get one for the piece of mind it brings. We are able to find the HB so fast now!!
We made our list of household projects we want to complete before this baby comes!!! This Saturday the old nasty hot tub will be gone and hopefully we will be able to match our decking material and have a much larger deck!! The guest room/my sewing room needs major cleaning out and hopefully we are going to slowly start finishing the basement!!

Chugging along over here, and I hit 23 weeks tomorrow. Luckily everything is pretty uneventful with the pregnancy these days. I'm surprised I don't feel much in terms of kicks/movement from DS at this point, since most people seem to. I had an AP last time and a PP this time, so I thought for sure I'd be feeling a lot, but so far, just some occasional movement that is slightly more than the butterfly feeling, but no actual "kicks" yet. I'm secretly a bit thankful, especially that I don't feel anything major overnight, but at some point it would be nice to see what all the fuss is about, since I hardly felt DD during that pregnancy, and I don't think we could ever "see" her kick from the outside, it was all just so blunted by the AP.
Next Friday is V-day, so I'm excited about that, of course, and then it's just a couple more weeks until I hit double digits, followed a couple weeks later by a much-anticipated vacation to a luxury spa resort for 5 days. Plenty of things to start looking forward to now, and very little (FX) to worry about.

Rainbow Surprise Baby due 05/26/2017
Hi!! Can't believe i'm actually posting here!!
My history: I conceived my DS in dec 2008 on my first cycle trying! Started TTC #2 in Jan 2011. Conceived on my 4th cycle trying but sadly it ended in a MC at 6wks. Then i tried on my own for a couple of months and nothing. Started seeing a RE in Feb 2012, they said i had unexplained IF. I did a couple of months of Clomid with TI and 2 iui's. I had a chemical pregnancy in Nov 2012. I took a month break from the RE jan 2013 and started acupuncture. February 2013 I started with a new RE (who I love). She found a ovarian cyst after i had some mid cycle spotting so for my march cycle she wanted to just watch the cyst to make sure it was going away and i was going to start injectables my next cyle but to my big surprise i got my BFP on march 26th!!!
I just had another sonogram today and everything is still looking good. I'm measuring at exactly 8 weeks and heard the baby's heartbeat again!! I've officially graduated from the RE and see my OB in 2 weeks. She told me today to stop being nervous and to start enjoying my pregnancy!!
QOTW: I've been feeling pretty good. Just nauseous and exhausted really. So far my only cravings are lemonade and bagels!
This is my first check in. I haven't been on TB since shortly after my BFP but decided today to peek in on all you 2IF ladies.
After a year of trying for babe number two we decided to see an RE for testing. That's when we found out that I had DOR and was told the likelihood of us having a baby on our own was slim to none. We did three cycles of clomid and one cycle of injectables and even though I responded well we never got pregnant. We then planned on moving on to IVF, per REs recomendation, the very next cycle after the injectable one when our insurance told us they would no longer cover any IF treatments. We were totally crushed and decided to regroup and try to figure out a way to afford IVF without assistance from our insurance. That month we found out that we were pregnant....on our own.
Miracle baby, as I like to call him, is due in exactly one week.
QOTW: I craved anything that was dipped in chocolate, fried or salty. Basically all I wanted was junk.
DH: 31, no issues
4-6/2012 100mg of Clomid + trigger + IUI/TI = BFN
7/2012 150mg of Gonal-f + trigger + IUI = BFN
