DH and I,along with DD1 met with the pedi today to go over MCHAT results,our concerns,and her therapy evals.

He agreed that it seems we are likely looking at ASD,with her being highly skilled in language development,average with motor,but lacking socially.

We will next see the developmental pedi for a more thorough ASD evaluation and if applicable,a diagnosis. She will also see a neurologist look at what may be absence seizures.

The appointment went exactly as I expected,and I'm doing well with it. Things have been plenty evident,so I'm glad to have the next steps in place,and it to be early on for her.

I'm so glad you are getting answers and getting the help she needs.  It'll make you all feel better.  I'm just in the process of starting to look at specialists based on everything I've learned and seen over the last year in special education
