5 week ultrasound??? Little worried

I am 5 weeks 4 days tomorrow and am having an ultrasound per OB request. We did HCG levels and my first level was 1045 on friday 4 weeks.5 days and then 4950 on monday 5 weeks 1 day. I havent had any cramping or bleeding but I do have a prior history of ectopic x 1. When I asked the nurse why we were doing an ultrasound she just said, because of your history. Is this normal? Should I be worried? What would I expect to see this early?

if you are correct on your timing you should see a gestational sac and most likely a yolk sac

Those are great numbers!! I don't think you need to be worried. Like PP have said there are a lot of variations for an US this early. You most likely won't see a heartbeat but I wouldn't let it worry you.
