Follow-up to yesterday...Failed IUI #1

Sadly, our 1st IUI was not successful.  Woke up to AF and knew. Cried most of the morning and drove in for my bloodwork anyway.  Walked in when it opened and the waiting room had 10 - 12 ladies already waiting to go in ahead of me.  Feeling so bad, I cried and went in for the bloodwork and explained what had happened and how we had a positive digital OPK Sunday Morning and then a negative Monday and did not know what was going on.  One of the only times I felt so humiliated sitting in that waiting room crying and I knew others knew it was not going to be good news for me today. No one said a word.

Call from RE office came in. "Not pregnant."

Just very sad right now and dealing with regular monthly cramps.  Didn't know I could have so many tears. 

 They are calling in the next round of medicine and we prepare for IUI #2.  Don't know how people pick up the peices so fast, but it's what we are going to try to do.  Tomorrow HAS to be better than  how I feel today.

 The lab person was very nice and said, "we got you there once, so we'll get you there again."  Seems so simple, but you all know it is not.

Thank you for your prayers yesterday.  It matters more than you know.

I am so sorry to read your post. Sometimes it is better when a stranger does not say anything because it could just upset you more. I know how you feel. This has been such a struggle for me as I just do not understand how this is happening to me and my DH

Aww I'm so sorry for the ups and downs you've had waiting out this cycle. I completely agree about it being hard to turn right around and get started on the next IUI cycle. Biology doesn't give you much time to grieve.

I'm sorry you're going through this. I got a + HPT after one of my IUIs, too (14dpt, 12dpiui), but it ended up just being leftover effects of the trigger. It was a huge bummer. Best of luck to you with IUI #2.
