The new colors are very tempting! My DH loves bright colors lol.

Are the shells just covers? I know they have soakers that can snap in.. But can you just trifold a prefold in them?

Also, I think I'll like the BG Elementals old style.. Should I get some of the grovia aio? I like natural fibers but the side snapping looks weird to me.

Final question. Is the aplix good on the shells?

I have 2 GroVia shells and 5 organic soakers. They are pretty much bullet proof...they do not leak, ever! I also have some stay dry doublers and if I add one, they are good for overnight too. I've never laid a prefold in so I cannot help with that. </p

Yes, you can tri-fold a prefold into the shell. The shells are trim, which is nice. As PP said, the soakers take *forever* to dry. And they are oddly not that absorbent. I've had my aplix shells converted to snaps as they were starting to look ratty an

GroVias, for some odd reason, did not fit my kid. I had six covers and 10 stay dry inserts and I really liked them, but I ended up selling them to my SIL and getting more BGs instead.

However, I would totally recommend them. They are

I did like the fit but found the inserts to be not that absorbent. Also, the mesh on the inside of the covers really held pee smell for me so I sold them and switched to Best Bottoms. Which I really love! They (BB) do have a shorter

I had leaks every time with grovia. I loved the fit, I loved the concept of the snap in insert but they just didn't work for us. I ended up selling them because I was so frustrated with leaks.
Best bottoms were nice but the fit was just too small f

Our entire stash is GroVia and I love them. If you flip the inserts inside out before you throw them in the drier they dry much faster!

I have a 13 lber and we are using the AIOs, but haven't tried our shells yet. The AIOs have been my favorite diaper because they were so trim and the snaps seemed to lead to a really good fit. But as she's become a more heavy wetter and sleeps

I love my grovia shells, prefer them over flip. The aplix is super sticky, the snap ones are nice too. I've used it with snap inserts, fitteds and prefolds, they work the same with all.
