Bright red bum

DD had yeast a few weeks ago and it's been gone until today.  Today she comes home from daycare with a bright red bum.  Not spotted, just straight up red.  It looks sore!  She's never had a rash other than yeast, but like I said, this looks different.  What does a teething rash look like?  She's cutting two molars.  Any ideas what to do?  Daycare changes her every 2 hours so she doesn't sit too long.

Yup, my daughter gets a bright red bum if she has a soft bowl movement.

I usually try coconut oil and hope it's gone in the morning. It usually is, except with this yeast.

Sounds like she had a teething poop.  They can be rougher because of all the drool LO swallows.  Try some CD safe cream to see if it goes away in a day or two.

It could be teething or an acid poop...if my son eats lots of fruit this happens. I have had the best luck with dabbing liquid Maalox on it. It works like a charm every time. I know it sounds crazy though...
