Lupus? - XP on high risk

According to my rheum I have "undifferentiated connective tissue disease/incomplete lupus."  Basically, he thinks it's lupus, but I don't have enough symptoms yet for an actual diagnosis.  He said I may never fully develop it, that we'll just have to wait and see.

I contacted him when I found out I was pregnant with #3 and he's recommending that I see a high risk OBGYN this time around.

I didn't start having autoimmune issues until after DS2 was born, so this is totally new to me.  DS1 and DS2 were both med and intervention free births and we'd been hoping for the same this time around too.

Anyone else dealing with something similar?

  • One of my BFFs, who had her son the same day I had mine, has lupus. She was in remission for about 6 years before she had her son. She had been feeling very good before and during her pregnancy. She didn't go to a high risk ob, but she did go regularly

  • Hi there. When I was in college they thought I had lupus but could never get a positive test. After a year of running fevers and being in pain they finally diagnosed me with rheumatoid arthritis. I'm not saying that's what you have but I would look into i
  • I have Mixed Connective Tissue Disease which is a mix of lupus, scleroderma and polymyositis.  I have primarily lupus symptoms and at first that's what my rheumatologist thought I had.
