New to CD and could use advice

Hi there! My name is Ruth and I'm a newlywed of almost a year and soon to be first time mom in October. I really want to embrace Cloth diapering and could use any advice you could offer. I've been all over the Internet getting ideas and looking up brands and what not. But I was wondering if some of y'all could offer a soon to be mommy any tips.

I'm so glad my dh is on board too. He was just kinda like whoa at some the prices but I've been able to scope out good deals and we plan on having more children so this is a wise and good investment for us.

Thanks for sharing! I've also seen videos where they use old receiving blankets like prefolds and I wanted to look into that as well. This is a whole new world. But I'm excited!
