not waking up happy

Does anyone elses LO never, ever wake up happy? I always read that after 6 months they could wake up and coo and babbble and play...... Anthony always wakes up and screams and cries unless he is in bed with me or napping ON me. Does this change? Or if he is doing it now, its just hus temperment.

DD does not usually wake up happy from naps. She doesn't full on scream but she will start fussing if we don't get her right away. We don't have toys or anything in  her crib to distract her though, maybe that would help?   In the mornings sh

DS wakes up crying if his nap wasn't long enough, and he's still tired. If his nap is 2 hours he's sweet and happy, but if it's 45 minutes, he's a mess.

So we aren't alone. I do rock him to sleep so maybe ill experiment and set him down more awake. He has a stuffed animal and another toy in his crib but he doesn't seem to care.

Rob wakes up happy as long as he is really ready to wake up and not because he lost his pacifier in the middle of the night or something. He is actually the happiest in the morning. He stopped waking up crying at about 2.5 months.

Oh this is us! My kid gets PI$$ED when he wakes up! He also takes a good 30 minutes to wake up from a nap and a good hour to go down for one..
