Stupid pregnancy brain

Earlier today the BF and I were out shopping, and picked up a bark control device. Our dogs like to bark first thing in the morning, and it gets really annoying, so we figured we'd try it. Didn't realize we needed a 9v battery for it until we got home.

So fast forward a few hours. We were being intimate, then I heard the dog start barking again, and said out loud "maybe my step-father has a 9v battery". Totally ruined the mood for him, and as soon as I said it, I started beating myself up for it. Poor guy probably thinks I wasn't into it (and I really was!). It doesn't help that I fell asleep in the middle of it last night, so this was supposed to be me making up for that!

I'm blaming it on pregnancy brain, but I feel awful about it. I've never made a mistake like that before, and I promised him it wouldn't happen again. I just really need to try to think before I speak from now on!
