So I was surprised when our Pedi said yesterday that we can give Benjamin water in the next few months.... Really? And if I just didn't know anything about this, is it necessary? It doesn't hold any nutritional value... maybe just a small amount in a sippy cup to get LO used to using a sippy? What's the deal with this?

Our pedi had mentioned adding a little water when we start solids since those can cause some constipation issues in the beginning.  But only like an ounce a day after he has had BM/FF.
