Cannot pull the trigger on a new carseat

So we bought a travel system and it has been great...until now...it is too hard to use now, since DS has gotten so big and so heavy...it is time for a new carseat, but I just cannot seem to make a decision on one.

OY!

I think I want a convertible one--rear, forward, and booster, I have an SUV so I am not too concerned about size, mostly safety and that it will last.

I am a little gun shy since our washer of less than 2.5 years broke recently...I just hear all the stuff good and bad and it makes my head swim!

Anyone else going through this? Any you would recommend/stay away from?

TIA!

  • I have a Britax and DH has a Ricaro ProRide.  We love both.  Defintely head to your local Buy Buy Baby and check them out in person.

Honestly there are many GOOD choices for each budget.  I was overwhelmed with choices at first two
