Look into your State's Landlord Tennant Act. It's illegal to not have running hot water. If the apartment or house becomes unlivable like this, your landlord should be keeping you at a hotel with hot water until then. It's a standard in every state and probably part of yor state rental agreement. Do some research. That's ridiculous. I'm so mad for you!
