Developmental Progress ?

So, this is probably a silly question, but I wasn't able to go with MH to the 9 month appt. yesterday so didn't get to ask. When they say "Developmentally LO is at a so-and-so month level." are they talking mentally, physically, or a combo of both?

I just asked MH for more info on it and he said they had him fill out a developmental questionnaire and went from that. I think usually other places do those, like head start, so I wasn't expecting it.

For infants and toddlers, it really should be broken down into cognitive, language, and gross motor development. DD hasn't been formally assessed, but she's definitely on target in the language area and probably cognitively as well; however, she is behind

Wasn't asked the question at our 9 month appointment last week. Our pedi asks questions about language skills, is she pulling to stand, etc. I assume if she was worried about anything she would say.
