I like Ruby best but not with a sister named Scarlett. Second for me is Lorelei.

I agree with pp's that ruby and Scarlett may be a bit much. Although I do love both names! I think Lorelei and Scarlett would make a great sibset.

Lorelei is my favourite! I would eliminate Poppy and Ruby (and any other colour-adjacent names, like Violet or Jade for example) based on DD1's name.

I would vote Harper or Lorelei.  While I like the name Ruby, I think Ruby and Scarlett is too themey for me.  Not a fan of Poppy as a formal name.  Okay for a nn.

I agree with pps about Ruby and Poppy...they should probably be vetoed. I love Lorelei though.

I like Poppy, but I would go with Penelope and use Poppy as a NN.

Also, what are your father/FIL's names? Maybe we can help come up with a way to honor them.

As much as people don't like Scarlett with Ruby those are the names of my two daughters....yes it is themey but they are both beautiful feminine girls names.   My daughters both also were born the week of Christmas so it makes it even more ch

Not a fan of Ruby or Poppy at all :::chills::: but I like Lorelei and Harper a lot.  Of those two, I like Harper better, but I think Lorelei goes better with Scarlett.

I like Lorelei and Ruby best, not a fan of Poppy (way too cutesy and reminds me of a small dog) or Harper. Poppy as a nn for Penelope would be nice. But I agree with the PPs, with a Scarlett already, Ruby may be a bit too much. Same with Poppy, actually.&
