I supervise 4 people at work. 3 of them have been here 18 months+ and need minimal supervision. They have their quirks but no one?s perfect. But the 4th is a new hire and I?m about at my wit?s end. She made an awful first impression on all of us, and I had no hand in hiring her. She rolls her eyes when you talk to her, jumps into conversations that above her head work wise, and just behaves like a know-it-all.
Separately, the other 3 have come into my office to complain about new girl. Outwardly, I tell them to try and be patient, she is still new, but inwardly, I am beyond frustrated. On Friday, we were all helping her stuff envelopes so she could meet a deadline and she told us we stuffed envelopes wrong. She came into my office to ask how she was doing so far and when I complimented her on something she does well, she said, ?well I wasn?t fishing for that, but thanks anyway.?
Today she made a mistake and when I asked her about it she continued to insist that it wasn?t her fault. Then she decided all on her own that she had too much work to do, so she pawned some of it off on someone in another department.
She?s been here a month and I?m so done. Lets commiserate, tell me about ?that? co-worker at your job.

My co-worker smells. Sometimes like a barnyard which I guess was caused by throwing her dirty clothes on her dirty floor in her dirty home and allowing her dirty animals to lay on them; then putting them on the next week.
Sometimes it's just plai
