MIL gave me DH's silver rattle when DS was born and he really didn't use it a whole lot but  DD loves it and it's one of her favorite toys so I was thinking that when she's done playing with it to have it engraved with her name and birthdate.  DS wants his added too, so I will.  It's a barbell rattle and DH's first and middle name is on one end.  There's no birthdate though and I'm considering adding that but not sure.   I think this might be a nice heirloom piece to pass on.  WDYT?
