I actually really like it. There is a character in Annie, and a cartoon when I was growing up with the name Pepper. Not to mention the Iron Man reference, which is a strong female role model.

Eh that one is not as bad as others I've heard.  It could be cute, but would be more appropriate on a pug than on a child.

My DH suggested Pepper as a name when we were trying to decide on girl's names.  We went with Piper instead.
