Asking for prayers

Ella has very severe reflux and has begun to have choking incidents. While she is sleeping she is regurgitating and it is obstructing her airway and she can't clear it on her own. I have had to do it manually. It is very scary when your child stops breathing. We have been admitted to the hospital because of the ALTIs, or acute life threatening incidents. They are running some tests. There is not much we can do now but I just want prayers that we can stop these choking incidents. I am so afraid of falling asleep. It is exhausting doing this all alone, especially with all of these complications.

Sending lots of positive thoughts and prayers your way! That sounds like one if the scariest things for a parent. I always worry lo isn't breathing and she hasn't had any issues; I can't imagine being in your position. Just keep thinking positive.

Oh my gosh love. I am so sorry you all are going through this!! Try to take some of the time in the hospital to rest. I totally understand being afraid to fall asleep!

So scary! LO spits up a lot and the nurses at the hospital suggested having her sleep on her side bc of it. I leave a rolled receiving blankets in front and behind her to keep her wedged in and from moving around.

Take her to see a pediatric chiropractor! A few adjustments will help or eliminate the reflux...
