CD10 Ultrasound

Uggghhhh a typical CD10 ultrasound for me. I have been on 7 days of Gonalf between 75IUs and 150IUs and I still have about 1618 follicles on each ovary and the largest one is on the right exactly at 1cm...the rest are around 8mm....the ultrasound tech said she thinks the doctor likes a follicle around 2cm before triggering?? Anyone know if this is accurate?

I am waiting to get my blood draw...my doctor is 2 hours away but he works closely with our hospital so I need to wait for him to take a look at everything and give me a call for the next step.

I always feel defeated at mid cycle ultrasounds because it is NEVER "mid cycle" for me : I just need to stay positive...

Thanks for listening ladies and hopefully these stubborn follicles grow, grow, grow with a little more push of meds!

Edit: to top off a semi cruddy u/s: walking out of the hospital I see a very pregnant lady with her husband walking in with all their bags and she looked like she was in pain....I'm assuming they were going into labor...ugh

    My RE likes to trigger follicles between 18-22mm (1.8-2.2cm). So that would make sense. Anything less than that are not mature enough and anything over could be too mature.

    Hope you get a good report when you go back.

    HUGS!  I am so sorry because that is so hard!

    TTC #1 Since 7/2011

    Me: 30, PCOS with anovulation
    DH: 38, Low Morph & DE
    Rx: Metformin 500mg

    Cycle #1: Clomid 100mg + Ovidrel = No Response, Canceled
    Cycle #2: Clomid 150mg + Ovidrel = No Response, Canceled
    Cycle #3: Clomid 150mg + Follistim + Ovidrel = No response, Canceled

    Cycle #4: Femara 7.5mg + Gonal-f + Ovidrel + IUI = BFP!!!!
