I read the article on yahoo Mother Declares Her Children A Mistake. What pissed me off though was the following comment:
I'm about the same age as Isabella and I understand exactly what she's talking about. Back then girls were raised to think marriage and children was the most important thing a woman could do. By the time I realized that children and babies were not for me it was too late. Now I don't regret my children but if I had a chance to do it all over again and know what I know now, I wouldn't have had children. They are just too time consuming. I also agree if you're going to have children, you should be the one to raise them especially when they are young not some stranger at a daycare. When you send your children out to be taken care of, they are not learning your values and morals. Small children need at least one parent who is available to them at any given time. Children are the way they are today because most parents don't have time for them. They are to busy building careers. I'm a firm believer of, you brought them into this world and they are your responsibility. Not the daycare worker, not the teachers, you. A lot of parents pass their children off to strangers the same way a grocer does with a sack of potatoes.
