HCG Levels at 5 weeks?

My blood test results came in today but the doctor is out of the office for a few more days. The secretary told me the number on the test was 274, at 5 weeks is this too low?

 Anyone else have similar results?

    They gave you the numbers but didn't tell you anything about them? I would call back and ask the nurse if they are happy with those or not. I assume since they didn't say anything to you, they're fine? You can google HCG levels for 5 weeks and you should

    Mine were higher, but from what I have been told the number isn't as important as how much it changes in a 48 hour time period. Are they planning on checking you again in a couple of days?

    My doctor wasn't in and the secretary told me she couldn't understand the test, so I asked her to give me the HCG number. I will have to call back on Friday to speak to the doctor. It will be a long few days!

    My doctor was out when an on call doctor ordered my HCG test. Because they were checking my HCG level and the only real information they can get is from multiple tests, it was ordered as a series of tests. It might be worth a call back to see if you still

    That's horrible they gave you information and had nothing to help you out with understanding it. I personally didn't have my HCG levels checked. I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks that gave us the heartbeat and that was where it was supposed to be. I'm sure e

    at 5 weeks my hcg was only 172. They tested me again 48 hours later and it went up to 461. The number itself doesn't really matter, it just needs to double every 2 days. hope this helps

    I GOT MY HCG LEVELS AT 5WK3DAYS DUE TO A BLEEDING SCARE AND I WAS OVER 10,000. I THINK I WAS REALLY HIGH THOUGH AND I KNOW #S CAN VARY A LOT WITH EACH PREGNANCY - I AGREE AS LONG AS YOU ARE GOING UP I THINK THAT IS WHAT IS MOST IMPORTANT
