Very Important Candy Crush Question

Okay so I'm addicted. I've been trying to beat level 35 for a couple days and IT JUST HAPPENED. Now it's telling me to get to level 36 I need a "ticket" and the only way to do that is ask a FB friend to give me one (I'm not on FB) or pay them for it?? Is this true??

do you play on FB or on the app?

On FB every few levels you have to have 3 friends "sponsor" your ticket to the next area... or pay them money.

I've been stuck on the same stupid level for around 3 weeks now.  At this point, I either have to quit the game because I'm so irrationally annoyed, or figure out how to pay to pass it.  Bastards.

Most of it is luck. The levels that make me mad are the ones with the cherries!
