NCDR - My baby had to get Staples

CLLDLL

Just got back from the ER with DS1 (age 7).  He slid into a metal door frame while playing tag at school & cut his head open. We spent the entire morning in the ER doing a neurological test and getting three staples.  He's fine now, thank God.

I managed to stay strong and not cry for his sake, but inside I was a mess.  I hate seeing him hurt.

Now I get to take my other baby in for 6 month shots.  Ugh.

That's all.  Just had to get that out. Hope everyone's having a better day than me!

Oh my goodness! I hope he recovers quickly. You're stronger than me, I would have been a total mess inside and out.

Yikes! I am glad that he is okay now. And I love that even though he is your older child and 7 years old, he is still your baby.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone!  He is doing much better tonight. Just a little tender.  Shots went well.  LO only cried for a few seconds, and then he stopped. 

MK - I used to swear by Tylenol before the shots with DS1.
