How do you wake baby?

My parents watch DS during the week... we usually have to wake him up to bring him to their house.  I usually just go up to his crib and say this name and rub his back and he wakes.  But lately, he won't wake for me or he will shift and turn his head.

How are you waking baby to get him/her to daycare or anywhere for that matter?

Sounds like you may need an earlier bedtime.

She usually wakes us up, but on the rare occasion I have to wake her up, I'll talk to her and rub her back, but if that doesn't work, she wakes up when I pick her up.

We never have to wake her up in the morning but we have had to wake her up from naps that are getting too close to bedtime.  We turn off the white noise and turn on the light and that seems to do the trick.  She wakes up slowly on her own.

I dont have to wake her often, but when I do, I usually start by turning on the hallway light and opening her door. I turn off her white noise machine, crack open her blinds and curtains, get her diaper and clothes out of the drawers etc. If all that r

Rarely have to do it, but when I do, I just open the curtain and he wakes right up.  I find that less intrusive than picking him up or touching him...
