I had posted last week about my dysfunctional work situation, and thought I would give an update.
I believe I had mentioned that she had refused to pay me the 50 she owed me for gas and parking, and at that point I had decided to quit. I couldn't do it at that moment because we were in public and one of the kids was there. I called instead on Saturday morning after my interview with another family. She was upset, but I just explained briefly that she has a wonderful family but based on the driving and uncertainty about hours, we were not a good fit.
I just got a picture from her of her younger child crying, the other one visibly upset, saying, "see what you've caused? You are very unprofessional and uncourteous!"
I'm devastated, I feel horrible, and I can't stop crying. I feel so guilty and I don't know if I can do this anymore. I've loved being a nanny but I hate feeling this way.

what a terrible person - you made 100% the right decision.
If her kids are crying its because she's an unreliable employer - not because of you. Ditto PP - F.U.C.K.H.E.R.
