Work Travel and Pumping??

Hi everyone - I travel for work, not crazy amounts...but usually 6 to 8 times a year.  I plan to breastfeed and then pump when I go back to work - my latest thought and concern though is...how is it going to work when I have to travel??  I'll be away for anywhere between 3 and 5 days at a time...hopefully there will be enough freezer milk available for my time away, but what would I do with the stuff I've pumped while away?  Is it possible to keep it refrigerated at the hotel and then transport it back with me?  Have you had to deal with this before?  How did you handle it?

Thanks!!

  • Thank you for the notes/advice!  I wouldn't have thought about having a manual pump too - but sounds like a good idea.  Oh boy, time to pack more for these trips!  :-D
