Mirena cramps can't find string

So I got mirena on fri. I started my first cycle since having ds on thurs. I'm having cramps and lower back pain. I wouldn't say severe but noticeable. I also can't find the strings. I've tried several times and haven't been able to find them.

Yes but I'm going to call today bc the cramping and back pain are making me nervous.

I had severe cramping for a couple of days, and then non-stop bleeding for about 7 weeks. I couldn't feel the strings either, still can't actually. But went back at 6 weeks for the followup and it was in there just fine.
