Cloth Diapering

I'm trying to decide whether to add snaps to my bamboo inserts or not.

I don't want to invest in the equipment, but I'm thinking I'll find it annoying to fold them when I use them for the second child.

Also, bamboo heavy fleece is awesome.  I just wanted to cuddle up in it like a blanket after it got out of the drier last night.  This is going to be so much better than microfiber.

  • I only added snaps to a few of my inserts. I thought I would hate having to fold the end over, but I really didn't mind it, so I don't bother with the effort of adding snaps anymore. Plus, now that A is bigger I don't have to fold them at all. I think

  • Thanks, I think I'll opt for no snaps.

    I'll probably wait on the tools until I want to convert my hook an loop to snaps. Which with the way they're wearing out will be in the next few months...

  • Mine are all three layer. I wouldn't do four if it's HOBF, but if it's regular weight you should be ok.

    I actually prefer thinner inserts myself because they clean and rinse better. So if I wanted four layer inserts I would make two two layer ins
