Any tricks for getting rid of tension headaches?

I've had them all weekend. I took a bath last night and that helped. Any other ideas?

  • Tylenol and a can of soda help with mine.

  • Stop being tense? Hahaha, ok probably not funny if you have a headache. I would maybe try yoga and stretching. But I remember at one point in my last pregnancy I just always had a headache. Try adding more water too.

  • I use Tiger Balm on my neck, shoulders and forehead. The heat make the tension go away.

  • I was prescribed butalbital by my OB. It is tylenol, caffeine, and butal (an anti-seizure medication). I never felt right taking it, so I took Excedrine tension headache or the target brand generic. It only has the tylenol and caffeine, but it works.

  • I've always had headaches! I was hoping this would be one of the things that went away when I got pregnant because sometimes your body does the opposite. Wrong. At first I had less, but the past week or two I've had headaches if not every day, pretty dang

  • I usually drink a lot of water, massage my head/neck/shoulders as best I can and hope it goes away.

Tylenol does nothing for me so I don't usually take it unless the headache is really bad.
