subchorionic hematoma anyone?

I spent 5 hours in the ER for excessive bleeding last night. Both babies are doing well but it's still kind of terrifying. I was diagnosed with a subchorionic hematoma and am under orders to rest this weekend and call my doctor Monday morning. 

Does anyone have any experience with an SCH?

Thank you! I'm resting in bed but also getting up to visit with DH and DS here and there. No lifting or running around. Babies were measuring great but all that blood scares the crap out of me.

Yep at 7w. Tons of blood and thought it was over. They are perfect now!

I had one too.  The only issue that came of it was that later baby B was found to have an echogenic bowel.  The MFM thought it may have been from ingesting some blood from the SCH.  It cleared up on its own (the SCH and the echogenic bowel)

I had two major bleeds one at 5 weeks and one at 12. The 12 week bleed lasted for 2.5 weeks. But I am 17 weeks now and the bleeds have stopped and the hemotoma has gotten smaller. Babies are doing great! I agree with the earlier poster who said layin
