She told us that while babies don't assign "Mama" or "Dada" to specific parents yet, they tend to say "Dada" for things they want, but "Mama" for things they need. I thought that was sweet!

We've noticed this ourselves. When DS is happy, it's always dadadadada, but when he's upset, it's mamamama.
I'm sure it won't change much: Dad will be the one to go to for fun, while Mom will kiss the booboos and cuddle.
I was wondering about this today! That makes a lot of sense.
