Telling parents overseas

We just found out we are expecting our first and want to think of a cute way to tell our parents. Being far from home is hard, so we really want to do something cute. What did you all do?

I had the idea of telling my parents and in-laws by sending a cute frame that has something along the lines of "grandchild" or a cute saying on it. Then in the picture area print a card that says "coming soon" and the due date.

I put LO in an "I'm going to be a big brother" outfit and we skyped with them.  It was pretty cute.  That's how I told DH also.

DH and I talked about sending our mothers a simple necklace with the babies birthstone and a cute note explaining.

Thanks for the great ideas. I caved yesterday Skyping with Mom. All she did was ask what's new and I blurted it out! Oh well, maybe next time we will make a cute announcement
