Hi all! I actually don't belong to this board, but I am hoping for some insite from those who recently went through some sleep issues. I also posted this on the 9-12 board.
background: my LO is 9 months and has never STTN, at best is 1x waking and that's rare. i DO believe in CIO (did this with DD1). Currently DD2 can put herself to sleep at the beginning of the night, however needs to be nursed back to sleep or at least have a nibble whenever she wakes at night.
i decided to do the ferber method, since it worked with my older daughter and i am not opposed to CIO. i feel like i am missing something or doing something wrong, so i help you all can help me with tonight.
night one-i decided i wouldn't feed her until 12pm, and then whatever after that. she woke at 11:35 and i did checks until 12 when i ged her, and then she woke at 2:30 and fed her again. she slept till her usual 6:15.
night two-she woke at 3:00...so i fed her..slept til l6:15
night three-i decided prior to bed to feed her at 3:30; she woke at 12.44 and did checks until 2:15 (i never went longer than 10 minutes, because she would fall asleep for 2-3 minutes, and then i would start over again). i gave in at 2:15 and fed her. she slept till her usual time
i have no idea what my game plan should be for tonight. any suggestions??
