Spitting up too much?

My baby usually spits up a little at each feeding, but today he was been spitting up a lot, wanting more, then spitting it all up again. I took his temp and it's normal, does this sound like something I should call the doctor about or is this just normal for a one month old?  This has been going on for the last three hours... I finally just gave him a binky instead of feeding him more and he fell asleep.  He's getting formula mixed with breast milk (About 2oz breast milk, 1oz formula)

If he isn't doing it everyday then I would think it may have something to do with his portion size or something you're eating that isn't sitting well with him in the breastmilk. Our LC told us NOT to mix BM and formula because if LO does have a bad reacti

Could be a growth spurt. My daughter has reflux and does this because eating comforts her tummy. But if that isn't typical I wouldn't worry on it. Just let baby eat! Perhaps baby needs smaller amounts closer together?

This happens when I don't burp her good enough. Try a few different burping positions until you get a good one out :

If it happens through another feeding or two and they aren't keeping much down, call your pedi.

We ended up in the hospital this week because of excessive spitting up and not keeping enough down.

It's happened the last two.. He took three ounces again, spit it all up, started screaming for more, so I gave him an ounce, he spit that up and now he is sleeping. That was all breast milk.  I am going to try all formula next feeding and see if mayb
