First Injection Tonight!! Woot Woot!!

Doing my first Gonalf injection for this cycle tonight!!! I love how excited I get about my DH shoving a needle in my stomach, such an exciting Friday night.

My goal this cycle is to figure out a way to do the injections myself....any tips?!
Me: 27, DH: 29*** TTC since November 2011 *** Dx with PCOS in September 2012 
***September 2012: IUI #1 = BFN*** 
 ***October 2012: IUI #2 = cancelled due to not responding to meds ***
 ***February 2013: IUI #3 - BFN ***
 *** April 2013: Gonal-f, HCG Trigger and TI = BFN*** 
 ***May/June 2013: TAKING A BREAK.***
***July 2013: Gonal-f, Trigger and TI = BFN***
***August 2013: Gonal-f, Trigger and TI = Cancelled due to over-stimulating***
***September/October 2013: Fermara, Gonal-f, Trigger and TI = BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Beta #1: 65, Beta #2: 210!!!!!!***

    Good luck!... the needle is super tiny but it can sting.... it hurts less when at room temperature.  Also let the alcohol dry before the inject that helped the sting too.

     IUI #1-#4 BFNs and a few cancelled cycles in the mix.
    - poor responder
    ***Suprise BFP on 6/13/13. Natural MC @6wks 3days
    IVF#1 and 2- Cancelled due to no response on max stimms
    FET 5/20- BFP
    1st Beta- 641
    2nd beta- 2166
    Sono- TWINS!!!!
    Two Boys! Born January 2015 @36 weeks.  Healthy and no NICU!  So blessed!

    My advice...don't sit there with the needle in your hand for too long, trying to psych yourself up.  The first time I did it myself, it took 10 minutes to finally just close my eyes and do it.  The second time I was in such a rush, just did it a

    BFP #1: 2/15/12-Ectopic/Mtx at 6 wks
    BFP #2: 10/12/12-m/c at 5 wks. 
    BFP #3: 8/27/13
    Me: MTHFR, Low AMH (1.1), High NK cells and Antiphospholipid Antibodies.
    DH:MFI-Low morph (1%), DNA fragmentation: Excellent!
    5 rounds of clomid, 3 IUIs, and multiple non-medicated cycles- BFFN                                                      
    IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies.  ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI  ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts. 
    + HPT at 6dp5dt. #1 (8dp5dt)- 105    #2 (13dp5dt)- 510  #3 (15dp5dt)- 960  #4 (17dp5dt)- 1889
    Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy.  Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!

    Me too!  My DH can't handle needles AT ALL, so I will be on my own!  But glad to get this next phase underway and see how it goes!  FX it goes well for both of us!

    I have had to do several shots this week by myself.  The first one I did stare at the needle for too long!!  But I managed to just get it over with.  It really helped to pinch the skin together and put the needle in at a slight angle. &nbsp

    I am doing my first cycle of Gonal F right now too. FX for both of us! I learned too late that you don't need to prime it every time that you use it. For 4 days I waisted 37units because I thought that I needed to do this every time!
