more about the "Lean In" author

Did anyone see her on the Daily Show this week? She was saying things about how leadership begins on the playground and how girls are still told that if they are aggressive, they are bossy, and they need to be pretty and how you can see it in the schools with girls not wanting to raise their hands. I just think she seems really out of touch. I do not think this has been true for a long time. When I was in grade school in the 80s, the gifted and talented program was all girls and in high school the top 5 students at graduation were all girls. Yes, the leadership in our country is mostly men, but I don't think that its because of girls not raising their hands in class.
