Question of Toofies

Kellen has had his bottom 2 teeth for about a month now. One started coming in just days after the first one started. However, even before those 2 teeth came in, I noticed a little white speck to the left of where they are. I think it is a third tooth.

I know the usual order for teeth is 2 bottom center then 2 top center but that its not completely uncommon for teeth to come in in a different order. My concern is that this little "tooth bud" (if thats what it is) has been there for over a month and is only slightly bigger than it was 5 or so weeks ago. It was there even before his first tooth!

Should I be concerned? His next appt is in 8 days so I will definitely ask his Dr about it, but its just worrying me. Im being a paranoid mom, I know.

Some teeth just take a while to grow. I don't think there's anything to worry about.
