Hi- anyone based in Manila or the Philippines? Anyone been with kids? We are based in Dubai but want to take a short trip to Manila and a 3-4 day trip to the beach with our two kids and our two childless friends who live in Manila (recent expats). Looking at Palawan, Bohol or Cebu but really need a mid range hotel that isn't a long drive from an airport but some people want to dive/snorkel/kayak but we need a nice, clean and safe beach for the kids to play on. If anyone has any feedback please reply!
Haven't been there yet but a couple blogs I follow have been and blogged about it some. Check out waytothesea.com [she went a while ago, check out her travel section] and unruly-things.com [she went in March]
