So, during this IF journey there are a lot of milestones...hitting the 1 year mark was a little tough for me, and then when my best friend had a baby (which was conceived while I was ttc), and then now I have my "annual" visit with my GYN. It has actually been over a year since my last one because I have had to reschedule it so often.
During my last visit is when I officially wen off BCs and told my doc I was going to ttc. She knows about my ttc struggles since she referred us to my RE, but it still stings. Plus they always ask when your last period was and if there is any chance you could be pregnant...well I am at CD 48 now and there is always a possibility but I am seeing an RE for a reason! Plus I took a HPT on Monday just because it has been such a long cycle (last one was 41 days long so this is longer than my longest cycle!) and it was a BFFN. I didn't expect any less since I was gone for two weeks during this cycle.
Any-hoo. Sorry for the vent, its just stinging a little bit right now!
I hope everyone has a good Thursday! I'm going to leave you with a little sexy man!!

Update: I told my gyn that i was at CD 48 so she said she would call me RE to see if there was a reason they didn't want me to take Provera or why they wanted me to start on my own. Long story short...my RE called me back and officially gave me the diagnosis of being Annovulatory! I always felt like this was my problem but it was great to have it confirmed! He said that since I am annovulatory we will be waiting "forever" for my period so he wants me to count today as CD3 and start my Femara! I am nervous about starting it without having the visual signs of a period (anyone else do this?) but SO EXCITED to finally start my medicated cycle with IUI!!! So, I'm going in today to speak to my RE's nurse and such, my sonogram is scheduled for April 13 and then we shall see how my follies look! I am beyond excited!! Annual pap went seamlessly = )
