XP...Hiccups?

My little guy will be 3 weeks on Friday.  After almost every feeding he gets the hiccups.  Poor guy gets upset because they are pretty violent!  He had them all the time in my belly.  Anyone else experiencing this?  Will he grow out of it?

Same thing going on with my DD. I'm told its normal and will eventually go away. I just feel so bad for her

My LO gets them too. They don't seem to bother her, though

If its after every feeding and hurts it could be reflux. Does he have any other symptoms? Also a half dose of gripe water gets rid of then instantly.

My LO is the same.  Drinking can help, even a sip of BM/formula is often enough to make them go away.  Just be careful baby doesn't choke by inhaling any down her windpipe!

Are you lying lo down soon after feeding? My lo gets them and pedi says its reflux and its normal. It usually happens before he spits up. Try keeping lo upright for 15 minutes after feedings.

my LO gets the hiccups almost daily, which is similar to how she was in utero.  i think they're worse for the mama's to hear than they are for the lo experiencing them.  maybe you could keep him upright a little longer after eating?

My DS is 5 weeks tomorrow and he hardly gets them any more. Sit LO up for 1020 minutes after they eat before laying them down to sleep and trying getting a few good burps. This helped for me. Good luck! It should go away soon!
