DD grabbing my hand..

My DD (16mo) is constantly grabbing my hand to bring me somewhere to play or to have me just touch a certain toy.. Mostly its just to touch that certain object.. If I dont go with her ASAP she has a total meltdown.. I have to go touching all they toys in that certain vicinity until I touch the toy she wanted me to touch.. I thought it was adorable at first but TBH now it's getting rather annoying.. Not necessarily the grabbing my hand to touch something but the fact that I have to go NOW or I have a screaming baby.. I try to tell her "Mommy's busy right now, when I'm done you can take me" or anything along those lines. I've even said flat out "Mommy's not moving." I'm just at a loss here as to why she's doing this.. She is an only child so maybe that has something to do with it? IDK

 Does anyone's LO do this?

Like I said I dont really mind her bringing me to go play but I need ideas on how to prevent a meltdown when I cant go immediately.. Or to teach her some Patience..

Have you tried distraction?  Maybe if you try singing a song or playing a quick game (I'll have DS find his nose, eyes, ears etc.).  Just something to distract her for that moment.  It might buy you some time if nothing else.
