DD#1 is 27 lbs and I had a c-section on 3/18. I feel like I'm ready to lift her but I don't want to hurt myself and regret doing too much. This recovery is so much easier than my 1st c-section recovery.
How soon after your c-section were you able to comfortably lift your baby in a bucket-type carseat? If you have a toddler, when were you able to lift him or her?
When did you walk upstairs more than once per day? Drive?

I had an emergency C-section on Mar 7th. I used the stairs a few times a day the first week. I took it easy for about 2 weeks not lifting laundry baskets etc.

Driving is an easy one to answer: don't drive if you're still taking the narcotic pain meds or anything that is labeled "Do not drive while taking this medicine." I was told 2 weeks for driving, I had been off the roxicet since a few days PP, and I dro
I was told 2 weeks for driving. I'm really not taking any pain medication anymore, and I think that's one of the main issues with driving. My incision isn't sore at all

Lifting DS#2 and carseat after a few days. DS#1- I lifted a couple of times because I forgot that I wasn't supposed to. Talked to Dr today at 2 week check- advised no lifting until 3 weeks post c-section. Then to use support to assist
I lifted DD in her bucket into the car around 3 wks pp. It was a little difficult because I have a SUV and I'm short, so I had to lift it way up. I didn't have a toddler.
I was walking up and down the stairs more than once by about 2wks pp. I
