My awesome sleeper...not so awesome anymore. Need help!

My almost 2 year old, normally goes to bed, no problem.  Since Sunday night, she screams when i put her in her crib, screams unless i am sitting in her room and then finally stands up and screams till she passes out, STANDING with her head on her crib.

 Needless to say, I am exhausted and I do not know what to do.  I try letting her cry it out, i tried comforting her till she falls asleep.  I tried putting her down later.

 I am not a co sleeper, never have been and never will be.

Anyone go through this?

    We did!  for us it was a combo of having a cold all the time (over winter), teething the 2 year molars and being dunzo with the crib.

    Same problem here! Tuesday night last week DS decided he would scream at bedtime (totally new, always went down awake and put himself to sleep no problem). I don't like CIO, so I went in at intervals and tried to comfort him until he got so worked up t
